Lakers tonight: Bogut vs. Bynum

Bogut dunks on Al Jefferson, but how will he fair against Lakers center Andrew Bynum?Bucks vs. Lakers @ Bradley Center, 7pm

The Battle of the AB's. The battle of the AB-Andrews not named Andris or Andrea.  Andrew Bogut vs. Andrew Bynum.

More pointedly, the matchup tonight between the Bucks and Lakers centers pits the #1 overall pick from the 2005 draft (Bogut) against the next center taken, nine picks later. That the number one pick still suffers (about half of the time) in comparison to the number ten pick is only Bogut's most current problem in the paint. In the last couple of weeks, he's had problems with the Wizards Brendan Haywood, Detroit's Big Ben Wallace and Cleveland's towering Shac-gauskis monster.

I had hoped this season that Bogut would come back from his back injury to merit All-Star consideration as Dwight Howard's backup. That question isn't dead yet. The ongoing question is whether Bogut is a Top Ten NBA center.

Andrew Bynum.Bogut and Bynum have both been too injured in the last two years to honestly compare them. Tonight, however, both are healthy.

Number 6 and #17 will be going head to head from the opening tip.

Scott Skiles says he's happy to have Michael Redd back. Why do I not believe him? Because it sounds like GM John Hammond talking.

Also noting that Tracy McGrady made his comeback this week for Houston. Must be that time of year when teams begin to find out whether their damaged goods can draw some trade interest.
